I may be insane.
This semester I am doing a crazy/giant research paper (Prostitutes in early 20th century New York City and the people who tried to fix them).
- yeah
- so that has to be 20-25 pages
- it is a big deal
- and it is due november 15
- i am considering doing nanowrimo
- i can do 50,000 words in half a month, right?
- lalalala off to go think up a plot and NOT do research
If it helps any, the non-researched novels turn out the best. :P
My 2009 took place in Brazil, and even though I used the term “cabrao” as brother (“cabrao” actually means something very rude) and “cabrita” for sister (again, very rude), it turned out fabulously. Good luck!
Your research paper sounds very interesting as well. Prohibition will help out very much when it comes to that.
